    Director, Medical Affairs

    Our Director, Medical Affairs will be responsible for growing the awareness of MyEyes’ services with ophthalmic physicians and growing prescriptions for MyEyes services.  The Director, Medical Affairs reports to our Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Barbara Wirostko. The Director, Medical Affairs works closely with, and in support of our CMO to develop awareness among glaucoma specialists and other eyecare/ healthcare professionals about the need for MyEyes service and home monitoring of intraocular pressure. The specific activities that the Director, Medical Affairs will pursue include:
    • Developing and executing programs to contact ophthalmology and eye care professionals and to make them aware of the benefits of home IOP monitoring and MyEyes services.
    • Following up with prescribing physicians (via emails/ phone calls and or in person) to help educate them on the benefits of home IOP monitoring and to increase prescriptions.
    • Supporting Dr Wirostko’s work to engage and influence ophthalmology professionals to increase the use of MyEyes’ services.
    • Supporting Dr. Wirostko’s work to identify and publicize the use-cases for home IOP monitoring.
    • Helping to develop educational materials as well as working closely with the MyEyes team especially the Operations and Patient Ambassador team to enable seamless patient and doctor experiences.

    Requirements/Experience

    • A BA and or BS or more,
    • Prior experience successfully selling to, or marketing to physicians and health care providers.
    • Comfortable with and enjoy an environment where constant innovation and invention is required. MyEyes is a startup business and a lot of our business processes have not been created or optimized.  The ideal candidate enjoys developing new programs and “figuring out” how to best address a market opportunity.
    • Comfortable and productive working independently without close supervision.

    Location/Travel/Time Commitment

    • Candidate can reside anywhere in the U.S. and work remotely. Travel required no more than a few days a month.  MyEyes will consider half time and full-time commitment for this position.

    Chief Financial Officer – Part Time

    MyEyes’ Chief Financial Officer is responsible for our accounting, accounts payable, cash management tax and the development and management of our business processes. The CFO reports to MyEyes Founder Paul Margolis and is a member of MyEyes’ Leadership Team. The position is part time to start with the option to transition to full time as we grow. There is the option for the candidate to work with some of the Founders’ other businesses.

    Duties

    • Managing our online sales which account for all our revenue.
    • Managing our payables, payroll and benefits.
    • Monthly accounting and business reporting vs Budget and Metrics.
    • Annual tax reporting.
    • Taking the initiative to recommend and when approved pursue new initiatives to grow the business.

    Requirements/Experience

    • A BA and or BS,
    • Five years, preferably more, of prior experience in controller or CFO positions, full or part-time.
    • Demonstrated successful experience participating in and contributing to top management teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a small very fast growth company environment.
    • Comfortable with and enjoy an environment where constant innovation and invention is required. MyEyes is a startup business and a lot of our business processes have not been created or optimized. The ideal candidate enjoys developing new programs and “figuring out” how to best address a business opportunity.

    Time Commitment/Location/Travel

    • This position is part time to start. We estimate it will take 20-25% of full time to start for the right candidate. The time requirement will grow as the business grows.
    • The Founders are engaged in other business and the option exists for the candidate to work on these businesses also. This will increase the time commitment.
    • This is a remote/work from home position. We will consider candidates located anywhere in the U.S.
    • A very small amount (perhaps once per year) of availability for travel is preferred.
    Compensation
    • Compensation commensurate with experience.
